Initial Health Guarantee (72 Hours)

We offer a 72-hour initial health guarantee from the time you bring your kitten home. We encourage you to have your kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within this period to confirm they are in excellent health. If the veterinarian identifies any pre-existing, serious health issues that are verified by a second licensed veterinarian, you may be eligible for one of the following options:

  • Replacement Kitten (when available), or
  • Full Refund

To initiate a health-related claim, please contact us within 72 hours of your veterinary exam and provide a written diagnosis from your veterinarian.

Genetic Health Guarantee (One Year)

At IdealCornishKittens.com, we provide a One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee against life-threatening genetic conditions specific to the Cornish Rex breed, such as heart disease and congenital defects. If your kitten is diagnosed with a genetic condition within the first year, verified by a licensed veterinarian, you may choose from the following options:

  • Replacement Kitten (when available), or
  • Partial Refund to assist with veterinary costs associated with the condition.

To qualify for the genetic health guarantee, a written diagnosis and test results from your veterinarian are required.

Exclusions

Please note that the Health Guarantee does not cover:

  • Health issues resulting from improper care, diet, or accidents.
  • Minor health issues or cosmetic conditions that do not impact your kitten’s quality of life.
  • Routine veterinary care, vaccinations, or deworming.
